Welcome to Paradise Productions!

Hi there,

I am not American. I come from Taiwan. I am a student, and I have had these websites for many years now, but only on this dot.com (powerpointparadise.com) for over a year or so.

I am very happy that many other Asian nationals visit our site, among others many Philippinos! There are many Philippino people in Taiwan, and they are often helping elderly people and raising young children that at the same time learn English from them, AND...which is the most wonderful thing, they often will tell them about Jesus, while backing up their witness with friendliness, and love. God bless them! They are missionaries in their own way. EVERYbody can be a missionary, all the time, as you can see. But also there are many sweet Indonesians, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Thais, and Vietnamese, and others as well.

Who am I? Well, I am just a simple student, but I try to go out daily to make friends with people and give them Christian tracts. I don't always talk with everybody, just those that Jesus tells me to approach. I just give them a smile and a tract that says, "Somebody Loves You!" Then I tell them to "have a good day." Most people are appreciative, even though Taiwanese have their own religions. But if you are sweet, friendly and kind to them, they will accept a piece of literature.

If the Lord gives me a feeling or check in the Spirit that I need to do more for them, I will often ask them a question that is not related to the tract at all, to get their mind of "religion" and I'll say for example, "Are you having a good day?" And they will smile at your interest in them. If the Spirit leads I will ask them their name, or where they are going, and slowly strike up a conversation. If I get the slightest feeling that they want to get on with their day or journey, I'll let them go with a cheery "Have a good day and God bless you! Bye bye!"
Just a smile and interest in them shows a lot, and they have the sermon in their hand and can take it with them to read at their leisure!

Many Christians talk too much. But we should have a two way conversation and be interested in people, and then they'll ask questions of you, or if they are very sheepy ask you about the tract, or about your faith, and you can humbly answer their questions. We don't have to win people. We only need to witness. The Holy Spirit is the only One that can win them. I don't like to be approached myself by some religious people that come on so strong and righteous, often very SELF righteous, and so I do to others as I want them to do to me! Ha!

But often I meet very nice, sweet people, and we slowly become friends. I call it, "making forever friends!" If they are interested in my faith, I will tell them that God or Jesus loves them and that He can help them in their life with their problems. I don't preach much further, but will show them 1, 2, or at the most 3 verses on Salvation and explain them, so they will know how to be saved, or how to get saved.

My favourite verse to show is, John 1:12, because it explains so simply how to become a child of God! I will often begin with verse 11, where it says that "He (Jesus) came unto His own, but His own did not receive Him!", and explain that many of His own people, the Jews, did not receive Him 2000 years ago. [That doesn't mean all Jews, as I myself was witnessed to & led to the Lord by a Jew from New York callled Stephen! GBH!] Then I tell them, but now comes the good news, "BUT, as many as DID receive Him, to THEM, He gave the right (power, privilege) to become the Children of God, even to those that believe in His name!" [John 1:12]

Then I ask them, "Do you believe in Jesus?" And often they will say, Yes! Then I say, if you receive Him as well, you will get the right to become a child of God as well! And then I'll ask them, Would you like to receive Jesus into your heart? And often they'll say, Yes! Then I say, well God already heard you, and He's happy that you want to receive Him. Then I go right ahead and say softly, Just say or repeat after me! ... Jesus! (Jesus!) Come into my heart. (Come into my heart), please forgive me my sins, (please forgive me my sins), and please give me your free gift of Eternal Life, (please give me your free gift of Eternal Life), And Help me... (And Help me), to love You and other people, (to love You and other people), and to understand the Bible, (to understand the Bible..), in Jesus' name I pray, (in Jesus' name I pray), Amen! (Amen) Thank you Jesus! (Thank you Jesus)

Simple, no? Very easy! And then I explain. Now you have received or invited Jesus into your heart. So you not only believe in Him, but you have also received Him, and what do you have now...?
Then they are often puzzled, except for the ones that were good listeners. I say, pointing at John 1:12, "What does He give you, when you believe and receive Him? And they look and study the Word, trying to grasp the meaning, which is very important, because only the Word can give them faith to be saved, and they finally realise...Oh... the right..."
I say, yes, the right to what?
They look again, and say, "oh, the right to become the children of God!"
"Right! So what are you now?"
"Uh, a child of God?"
"Exactly! Right! You are now God's baby! You are now born the second time. You are now a child of God. And you know when you have a child, a baby, you just love that child! Don't you?" And I make a gesture with my two arms of cradling a baby in them, and they get the point.

"Now you are God's baby! And do you think that He will throw you out, when you make a mistake or have the next bad thought?"
"No?"
"Of course not. He will always keep you. You are God's kid forever! And this life you can never lose! That is why it is called Eternal Life. If you could loose it, it wouldn't be eternal, now would it?"

If they are still hungry I'll often show them 1-Peter 2:2, which says, "As new-born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby"

I will take my Bible and put it to my mouth as a baby bottle, and tell them, "This is your spiritual milk bottle. And if you drink this Bible every day, you will grow spiritually! Then if they don't have a Bible, I will often give them one, as I often have an extra one with me. [I have a friendly pastor friend that gives me Gideon Bibles when I need them.]

Well, as you see, this is the main reason that I am in this life. To help & win others to Jesus. And it is so simple! You can do it too! And God will bless you for it!

If they live close to my area, I'll invite them to my... church? NO, not at all! I invite them to my house! And if they come over, we have a cup of tea or coffee, and answer the other questions they might have. From my own mind? Well God uses our mind, but it is imperative to show them the answers FIRST from the Word, so that they see that the authority of your teaching doesn't come from the imaginations of your mind, but straight from the Word of God it self. For it is impossible to have faith, unless you have the Word of God! For "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God!" (Romans 10:17)

Too many Christians have too many doctrines that are not based on the Word. I don't even interpret the Word for them. I just explain strophe by paragraph the obvious meaning of the verses themselves. For example:

"Here! Look at John 3:16. What does it say? And I let them read it for themselves! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
I say, You see, God loves the world! Who is the world?
And the fast ones will say, Everybody!
Right everybody, does that mean you too?
Yes.
So then it says here, For God so loved Mary! (If her name is Mary) Isn't that wonderful? God loves you! And how much does He love you?
That...uh... He gave His only begotten son!
Right, who is that?
Jesus!
Right, so God gave you Jesus! Do you have Jesus? Yes, you have Jesus in your heart now, and He'll never leave you. Do you believe in Him now?
Yes!
So what do you have then! And I will point to the verse. And they read..."that whosoever believes in Him, has everlasting life!" Aaaah! Everlasting life!?
Right! You have everlasting life now. And are you going to perish? Go down, get lost, go under?
No! I have everlasting life!
Right!

And then faith is born! Their faith is not in you, or in the Church, or in some priest, or in some catechism, but it is straight in the WORD! Where it is supposed to be in.

They have to have faith in the WORD! You or I can be here today, or gone tomorrow, but if they have faith in the WORD, they are fine, they are saved, and God will take care of them. But if you fail to put their faith in the Word, they will still be wondering, and lost in their minds, even if they are saved by having received Jesus in their heart already!

There are millions of Christians who are saved, and who don't even realise it. They did at one time or other see the Word, that they had to believe on and receive Jesus, and they did! But they never got the point that He actually came to STAY! And so they have doubts and battles in their mind, and wonder if they are ever going to make it, etc. Whereas they are already saved!

What a blessing they could have been to others, if they had only understood and grasped that they actually have the right already to be born of God, to be a child of God and that they HAVE eternal Life. It is pitiful! Well, anyhow, God will take care of them anyhow.

Well, nice to meet you. I hope you'll enjoy your visit on our site here, and that you will return again, to sample the other many powerpoint shows we have here that you haven't seen yet, and other pages, MP3-s, etc.

Please, if you can, link to our site, if you can remember us, and if you have time to add it.

May God bless you, and He knows, we will meet one day up in Heaven!

Wishing you lots of love and faith

Mr. Lu
