Why desire Armageddon? The dreadful Day of the Lord!

Some US Evangelical fundamentalists rejoice at the thought of Armageddon. How foolish! How un-spiritual! How thick-witted. They have no idea what it’s going to be like for those who have survived the time of Tribulation and will then be going through the “Wrath of God” period.

It reminds me of what Jesus said to some of His disciples, when they were rejected by a Samaritan village they were traveling through, they said, “Lord, shall we command fire to come down from Heaven and consume them, as Elias did?” You know what Jesus answered them, “You don’t realise what kind of a spirit you are speaking from!”

Jesus is no vengeful personality. He “has no pleasure in the death of the wicked”. He “desires everyone to believe and be saved!” But sometimes certain religionists can be pretty un-Christlike, carnal, even Satanically vindictive! How sad, and what a blot on the sweet Love of God.

Of course, there does come a time when God will have to set the record straight, after the merciless persecutions and massacres of millions of his children have taken place, He says that “vengeance is mine”, and will fight those who fight Him.

The ultimate instance of such vengeance is called the “wrath of God” period, right after the actual visible return of Jesus Christ in the clouds, from the sky, when He gathers His believing children to Himself in some kind of supernatural kind of “airlift”, after the instant resurrection and transformation of all those nations’ people who received His spirit into their hearts over the last 2000 years!

The ‘wrath of God’ period pours out 7 plagues on the Anti-Christ forces after Jesus’ revelation from space. Fiery 60 kg hailstones will fall down from the sky. Then repugnant sores will erupt on the bodies of those earthlings who did accept the 666 body chip, also called the “Mark of the Beast” [The Beast refers to the Anti-Christ leader and his A.C. One World Government]

Thirdly there will arise some kind of eerie thick darkness over the “seat of the beast” [perhaps the area where his government will be situated at that time? Israel?]

And fourthly, the rivers Euphrates and Tigris–which have already been drying up over the last 30 years–will fully dry up to make a way for “the Kings of the East” to cross over, most likely the Kings of the Indians, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesians, etc., and their military forces.

These Kings of the East will converge on Palestine for the great military battle around the “heights of Megiddo” (Harmageddon) to fight the One World Government forces of the West, who together with the mighty forces from Russia, will be drawn as magnets into this gigantic cauldron of the ‘Battle of Armageddon’.

This is the height of Megiddo between Haifa and Jerusalem in Palestine.

The ultimate “plague” to vanquish these rebellious military forces, is therefore called the Battle of Armageddon, the biggest military battle in the history of man, where millions or perhaps even billions of resisting soldiers will pit themselves against each other, and at the very end of the battle eventually also against Jesus Christ and His supernatural alien forces, as all these nations’ forces will have been deceived by the A.C. media that Jesus is their Enemy. And when you foolishly decide to fight God, eventually He does fight back!

His fighting back, to save the Earth from these Antichrist forces and monsters, is called “the Day of the Lord”, and it is not a pretty sight, nor some picnic in the park, but the worst time in history. Here follows a description by Old Testament prophet Joel, who in the first verse tries to alarm God’s people of “Zion”, as well as to warn the surviving Earthlings–inhabitants of the land– especially, that it is going to be…a very rough time! [NB: Zion=All saved, international Children of God of the Endtime! NOT political “Israel”!]

1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD comes, for it is near, at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains. {Nations!}

Then Joel begins to describe the power and might of God’s own resurrected, supernatural forces who will accompany Jesus on supernatural stallions.

“A great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before their face the [Earth’s] people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

His “mighty men”, these heavenly “SAS” forces, are a well-disciplined effort, in supernatural immortal bodies, which, when pierced by a sword, “shall not be wounded!” Poor creatures who fall into their immortal hands!

7 They [God’s forces!] shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

Following are the world’s conditions during that final day! Earthquakes! Utter darkness! And trembling skies!

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? [stand it!]

Even here and now, God, through Joel’s prophetic voice, tries to warn and win the listeners of the future–of our day!–to return to God and repent of our sins by accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour!

12 Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil. 14 Who knows if he [the unsaved!] will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

The verses 15-27 in between, describe the meek survivors of Armageddon on Earth, who will be spared as new heirs of ‘Zion’, the new believers then, who will also inherit the Earth during the peaceful era of the impending Millennium, the thousand year reign of Christ with His supernatural saints over the Earth.

But in verse 28 Joel returns to the days before and during the ‘Day of the Lord’, describing God’s people during the time of preparation for the return of Christ and the very Endtime.

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens [sky] and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered [saved!] : for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

It ends with the promise that no matter who he-or-she may be, IF that one will call on the name of Jesus, he or she will be saved during this terrible time, as well as from spiritual death by His gift of Eternal Life. It’s a small remnant of people that will eventually only turn to God when the going gets really really rough. They will come and join “Zion”, God’s people, and “Jerusalem”, His Endtime ruling body of humble shepherds and loving guides.

This is not about fleshly Jerusalem in Palestine or so-called “Israel” or God forbid, the political Zionist movement. This is spiritual Israel, those who returned to God from ALL races, ALL nations, ALL languages to the God of Israel or Jacob, or the God of Abraham, Jesus Christ!

We hope to see you become part of this prophesied, predicted international people’s movement of God, who will joyously welcome Jesus Christ’s return from Heaven, when He comes to save these out of the clutches of the Antichrist movement and world tyranny that is now spreading over the earth! Hope to see you there! Here, there..or in the air! May God save and bless us all.

Here some more information on that battle from the Book of Revelation Ch. 16 in the Bible:

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.  17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
