Rob Bell & traditional Evangelical debate God’s Love or “Vindictiveness”?
Recently I got to listening to some different preachers’ videos, as you can tell. There are as many opinions out there as there are flees on an Irishman’s dog. It reminds me of the verse: “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine. Ephesians 4:13.
St. Paul said that, who really had little time to get into shibboleths unless Peter or the Concision threatened the Ephesians. He was too darn busy preaching the simplicity of the Gospel to as many lost souls as he could find! It took all his time! Most of these preachers like these two debaters, Tim Keller, and others, are pretty heady people who are perhaps God’s last mercy on heady high-minded post-Christian Westerners! But what about the billions who never even HEARD the Gospel, who couldn’t care less how many angels fit on a pin!
If hearing “winds of doctrine” is your bag, watch & enjoy (?) the Full Debate with Rob Bell and Adrian Warnock on Rob’s book, ‘Love Wins’. But if you want to DO the work of God, then “don’t say there are yet 4 months, but… leave the West and GO into all the world and preach the Gospel” to the lost, lonely, down & out, & needy, who never even heard it! Great will be your reward! Matt 7:21-24. It is funny how Evangelicals strain on a gnat of Hell’s end, but swallow an entire 100 % un-scriptural Zionist camel!
