Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Revelation 17:9 And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.

The "7 empires" that the Bible refers to as 7 heads or mountains, are 7 consecutive historical empires in the socalled "Old World" or Biblically known world only. Therefore they do not include the Mogul-, Inca- or Maya- Empires nor the Chinese and Japanese Dynasties, as they were "unknown", inconsequential or too far removed from the arena of action, which was the Middle East and Europe! It does include however the Last World Empire, the New World Order, as it will cover the entire world!
Also these 7 Empires were uncontested consecutive master empires, unchallenged by contemporary rivals, until they were taken over and incorporated by the next challengers! Therefore the British or Ottoman Empire for example, don’t feature in the list as they were contested by contemporaries like the French, German, Austrian and Russian empires!

The seven Biblical World Empires are:
Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece or Macedonia, Rome and the Last AC World Empire.
