THE FOURTH VISION OF DANIEL THE PROPHET
THE WORLD'S LAST 7 YEARS!
" And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one Shabua"

Daniel Chapter 9 is one of the most remarkable chapters in the entire Bible, containing some of the most amazingly fulfilled time prophecies God ever gave (around 538 B.C.) predicting the exact year of the first coming of Jesus Christ, and the timing of the Last Seven Years before His Second Coming!

The chapter begins with Daniel desperately calling out to God on behalf of his people Israel, who at this time were in captivity as slaves of the Persian Empire. Daniel gets a special visit from Gabriel the Archangel who shows him this vision. Gabriel gets permission from his overseer-Jesus?- to give an explanation. (The time prophecy is in the verses Daniel 9:24-27. See 3rd column)

1 "SHABUA" = 7 YEARS!
FACT: "Shabua" in Hebrew means "week" or "number of seven", as "a dozen" in English means a number of 12! In this prophecy it means a period of seven years!

70 SHABUA FOR ISRAEL = 490 YEARS.
God ordained seventy "weeks" ("shabua") or 70 "sevens" or 490 years, for His people Israel and their holy City Jerusalem, as He said to Daniel, to: "bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the vision and prophecy!" These 490 years began when the Persian King Artaxerxes ordered the rebuilding of Jerusalem in 453 B.C., and 483 of those years ended in 30 AD when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead! Which leaves seven more years!

THE LAST SEVEN YEARS!
But the World's last 7 years, the very last shabua of these 70 "sevens", was obviously suspended after 69 sevens, when "Messiah the Prince"--Jesus--was "cut off!" Because "everlasting righteousness" or in other words, the beginning of Gods Kingdom on earth and the end of the History of Man without God, did not begin in 37 AD! Thus the vision and prophecy are still not "sealed up!"
These last 7 years are supposed to "kick off" again with the "confirmation" or signing of a Holy Covenant by the Last World Leader and False Messiah, the Antichrist, which has not taken place yet!

"And he (the Antichrist!) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week" (seven years!)

After these last 7 years do begin, 3½ years later, in the middle of these Last 7 years, the AC will stop the Jewish Daily Sacrifice which they will recommence in a soon-to-be-built Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Because of all his desecrations or "abominations", the Antichrist will make things "desolate" or barren until the End or "consummation", which refers to the Return of Christ and the Wrath of God that will be poured upon the desolate, the World's people who will be left behind after Jesus comes and takes His children out of this World.

DANIEL CHAPTER 9
24 "SEVENTY WEEKS are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (7) and threescore and two weeks (62): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 "...Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come, shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."
27 "And he (the Prince that shall come, the AC!) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

 

A PREDICTION OF 49+434+7=490 YEARS.
Long before it happened, Gabriel showed Daniel that "for his people and his holy city", a period of 490 years (or "70 weeks or sevens!") was ordained by God, before "an end of sins, everlasting Righteousness, and the fulfillment of this vision" would be established. He sub-divided this 490 year period into 3 periods:
one of 49 years,
one of 434 years and
one of the last 7 years!
THE FIRST-49 YEARS, would BEGIN with the commandment to rebuild the Jewish Temple and Jerusalem, and END with the completion of that reconstruction.
THE consecutive SECOND-434 YEARS, would END with the death of the Messiah and the destruction again of the Temple and Jerusalem! "Messiah will be cut off" and "the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary!"
THE countdown of the non-consecutive LAST-7 YEARS, would re-start with the "confirmation of the Holy Covenant" by the coming AC, which hasn't happened yet!

THE CONFIRMATION OF THE COVENANT!
The first 49 year period of this 538 BC prediction, was fulfilled in 453 B.C., when Artaxerxes gave his order to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple, which work was completed on God's schedule in 404 B.C!
The 2nd consecutive period of 434 years, was also right on schedule, when Jesus was crucified by the Romans for the Jews, in 30 AD! 40 years after that Jerusalem and its temple were razed to the ground!
The LAST SEVEN YEARS, are ABOUT to be started and fulfilled, when the "prince that will come", the Antichrist will rise and confirm the "Holy Covenant" with many for 7 years, and that will also end right on schedule with the Return of Jesus into the atmospheric heavens, to rescue His own children out of this world!

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

In the "middle of the week", halfway the last 7 years, the AC will place the "Abomination of Desolation," that will last until the "consummation", whith the return of Jesus!

WHY WERE THE "LAST SEVEN YEARS" SUSPENDED SO LONG? 2188
How come God left that hanging and dangling until the very end, the very last seven years of world history? Somebody want to tell me? Why did He divide the 70th week from the 69? Why has there been nearly 2000 years since the 69th week to the 70th week? Why? Why did He leave that hanging? Why did He put off the 70th seven years to the very end? Why this big gap?
Let me give you a hint! This big gap is between the time they killed their King and therefore God was through with them as a nation, until the time they are restored as a nation and guaranteed peace and are building the Temple, and Israel really becomes the Empire of Israel again under their Emperor, the one whom they consider their own messiah. Israel really comes into full strength in history as a strong nation with its own Emperor, literally the Emperor of Rome, showing where Israel's at.
But when they killed Jesus they cut off their own head and their own history, and Israel, in the sight of God, ceased to be ISRAEL. It ceased to be His people, it ceased to be His country, it ceased to be a nation in the eyes of God! But the false messiah comes along and literally recreates Israel into a World power with security, guarantees, Covenant, promises, restoration of the Temple and resumption of sacrifices. Israel has never been fully restored. Even though they declared their independence in '48, they will not consider themselves fully restored until they have the Temple and sacrificial services are resumed. Then once again you have Israel's history continued, Israel again in full bloom, Israel restored by the Antichrist, the last week, the last seven years.
It is as though God suspended Israel's history when they killed his Son, and He's not going to allow it to be restored until the very end of the World, Man's World, and then restored by the Devil himself, by the king that they worship and the king that they wanted. Their real King was crucified at the end of God's history for Israel as far as He's concerned, but He allows them to restore themselves to full power under the false messiah, the false king, the Antichrist, in the last 7 years! Do you get it?
Israel will not be fully restored as a nation to full power and religion and the works, including the temple and the sacrifices, until the Antichrist comes into power. God left a gap of nearly 2000 years of World History in which Israel was obliterated as far as God was concerned. God only allows them to be restored at the very end!
