VIRGINIA BRANDT BERG
A pioneer of Radio Evangelism and one of the first women evangelists in the U.S. during the twenties, Virginia Brandt Berg--mother of the founder of the Missionary Organisation "The Family" David Brandt Berg--was awakened out of a sound sleep in the middle of the night in 1965. Jesus personally told her to get up and write down the following warning prophecy:

"Turn your eyes toward Memphis, for out of it shall come the Great Confusion! The author of Confusion is even now marshalling his forces for this Great Confusion! He is gathering his forces from a Great Nation and Eastern nations, friends that will join with him.
So sudden will be the Great Confusion, that it will cause a mighty widening of the eyes, of those who have not discerned the signs of the times. But be ye not deceived! Be prepared! And be not deceived by the Great Society, for it will come to travail and then bring forth the Great Confusion! Be prepared!
Even now, the skies are red, red with warning, and black, black with clouds gathering for the Great Confusion which is almost upon you!"

TURN YOUR EYES TOWARD MEMPHIS!
Why are we supposed to keep our eyes riveted towards Memphis, Egypt?--From where according to this prophecy, this "Great Confusion" is to originate? Is there going to arise some deep political trouble in Egypt, that will have great portent on World politics? We don’t know yet, but we'd better keep our eyes open!
Apparently the "Author of Confusion" refers to Satan who will give the long foretold "legendary" Antichrist his power. Jesus indicates in this amazing prophecy, that Satan was already then--in 1965--"marshalling his forces!" The Antichrist, who many believe to be alive already, and if we take Jeane Dixon's vision into account, may then have already been 3 years old--is by now, no doubt, marshalling for him, and gathering his forces from "a Great Nation & Eastern nations". Russia right now could hardly qualify for "Great-Nation" status, although the Lord may be talking in the sense of an "Ancient nation"! Yet who can tell how their future leader the AC may turn it around with good financial backing, just as Hitler turned around his bankrupt Germany in the thirties after the Crash of 1929!

"Friends that will join with him"--the Antichrist--probably refers to individuals in high places who are collaborating with him in all these nations! The "Great Confusion" might refer both to the imminent world-wide Great Economic Crash that many economists predict as a result of the world-wide budget deficits and the fact that now almost every nation is IN DEBT--Even Japan! But perhaps also to the ultimate "Great Tribulation" that Jesus talked about, the worst period in human history that will precede His Return. Therefore the "Great Society that will come to travail" could refer to both the US whose ailing currency-the Dollar-could very well cause the ultimate Crash of the whole world's trade system. But it may also refer to the "Brave New World Order" that the AC will head up, that will ultimately also come to travail during the "Great Tribulation" just before the Coming of Christ!

This "Great Confusion", whenever it may be, "will cause a mighty widening of the eyes, of those who have not discerned the Signs of the Times." It will cause many people to wake up and realise that they are living in the time of the End, and that they should not be so deceived, but should prepare for it! How about you? "But be ye not deceived! Be prepared!"
