BIBLE PROPHETS ARE NOT JUST "PREDICTERS" BUT ORACLES OF GOD'S WORD IN GENERAL
Moses prophesied the 10 Commandments and the Law, but predicted very little future! He only predicted "the prophet" and the future of the Jews if they would obey and their fate if they wouldn’t obey, fulfilled "to the T"!
Job prophesied his book, but merely predicted that his Redeemer "would stand on the Earth" one day…
David prophesied the psalms, but only predicted characteristics about the life of the Messiah (Jesus) and "the David!"
King Solomon prophesied the proverbs and ecclesiastics, but no future.
All minor and major prophets predicted some future, but also prophesied God’s Word in general. The word "prophesy" used in the Bible means to "tell forth!"--In other words: to "spread abroad", to "broadcast!" Not specifically to foretell… to predict.
